Site Rival is operated by Nieu Growth ("we", "us", "our"). We provide a free competitive website analysis tool. For privacy-related questions, contact us at ryan@nieugrowth.com.

2. What data we collect

When you submit the analysis form, we collect:

  • Your name (optional)
  • Your email address
  • Your website URL
  • Your business type and service area

We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamp) for security and operational purposes.

3. How we use your data

Your data is used to:

  • Generate your website analysis report
  • Store the analysis result so it can be reviewed
  • Contact you about services relevant to your analysis (only if you provide your email)

We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR / AVG)

We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent, which you provide by ticking the consent checkbox before submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to deliver the analysis:

  • Google PageSpeed Insights — to test website performance. Your website URL is sent to Google.
  • SerpAPI — to find competitor websites via Google Search.
  • Google Gemini AI — to generate the written analysis. Crawled website content is processed by Google's AI infrastructure.
  • Netlify — our hosting provider. Functions run on AWS Lambda infrastructure in the US.
  • Google Sheets — used internally to store submitted leads and analysis results.

6. Data retention

We retain your personal data for a maximum of 12 months, after which it is deleted from our systems. You may request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights (GDPR / AVG)

Under the GDPR and Dutch AVG, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl

8. Cookies

Site Rival does not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
